Trump campaign digital expert reminds supporters to 'Keep pushing'

Consultant Mike Shirley was in some excellent company when he walked into federal prison. It was there he met MAGA martyrs Pete Navarro, senior trade and manufacturing counselor to President Donald J. Trump, as well as Jack Daly, a key Trump campaign digital advertising expert, with numerous other clients including Turning Point USA. Navarro gave Shirley have his blanket on Navarro's way out of prison!

Daly also gave a gift: this comprehensive statement about Shirley's appeal and quest for a pardon today on X, following a repost of a Center Square article about Shirley by veteran reporter John Solomon. We repost it verbatim below. "Keep pushing," Mike!

John, thank you for bringing attention to the injustice that is @themikeshirley’s continuing ordeal.  When @RealPNavarro and I served our respective four month sentences alongside Mike, we became acquainted with the irregularities and infirmities in the DOJ’s case against Mike.  I remain optimistic that Mike’s appeal to the 11th Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals will be meritorious.

I do wish to see those issues reached and resolved on appeal because, among other reasons, the @USAO_MDFL’s [U.S. Attorney's Office, Middle District of Florida]  interpretation and application of the penal statute in Mike’s case has enormous implications for all business owners who become contractors or vendors for government agencies.

John, if you had interviewed me at the Republican National Convention in July 2024 and asked me to forecast what @realDonaldTrump’s election in November would mean for Mike in 2025, I would have predicted that Mike would get a measure of relief on January 21st or shortly thereafter.  The only question in my mind would have been whether that relief took the form of clemency (pardon or commutation) from the @POTUS or intervention by @AGPamBond after review by the DOJ’s Weaponization Working Group.  I would never have guessed that Mike would still be rotting in a dangerous prison nearly a year after the election.

The wise words of  @EagleEdMartin come to mind: “be unhappy” with the slow pace at @TheJusticeDept / @WhiteHouse and “keep pushing.”
